• Email Through Blackboard (Monday, July 26, 2010)
  

  It has become clear that not all email being sent through Blackboard is getting through.  No error message is generated so there is no means to determine whether or not the email sent was ever received.  This problem has been reported to Blackboard Support and escalated to a high priority, so it is likely to be resolved shortly. 

  Until then, students may email their instructors by using the email address provided on the syllabus.  If instructors have not included an email address on the syllabus, they will want to post it on the announcement page.

  Instructors can email students by selecting users from the Control Panel and clicking the email address next to individual students.

  I apologize for the inconvenience, and I will make an announcement as soon as this problem has been resolved.
